I found your website while searching for natural products I could use for my locks as had found that the shampoo and the other stuff I put on makes my hair
“dirty instead of clean” resedue build up.
Just looking for more natural products to make my hair clean, soft and glossy.

Thanks to the info on your site I think I have found what I was looking for products that are not international that can be found at most supermarkets.

    Thanks

    Hi Nelisiwe,

first of all, congratulations on your decision to go natural. I promise you’ll have a lot of fun with your hair. Read more on the JO’M products on our latest post.

I have relaxed hair but planning to go natural in 3 weeks! I am just waiting for new growth so I can have a bit of hair left to start from when i cut the relax her off.

I want to prepare myself well so the transition from relaxed hair to an afro is smooth. Where can i get hair products for my natural hair? I saw you writting about JO’M (specially designed for natural hair) where can I get this product?

  20. natural hair is the best, I have been having natural hair since 2005 and I am loving it so much. I used to relax my hair and was never happy about my hair then, it was contantly breaking, britle and used to have dry scalp. but ever since I changed from relaxed to natural hair I am more confindent and content with my look. I dont have dreadlock or weaves but I wear my natural afro. My afro has grown so much its beautiful and soft, it was not always like that until I stated using JO’M natural products designed for natural hair they make natural hair soft and easy to manage. they are available at clicks store. you will never regret it just like I do.

Natural hair its the way to go!!!! check out http://www.jomcosmetics.co.za

    Greetings to the FroChic ladies…

I am a guy, and I possess a “bunch” but I prefer to call it an U-fro (intstead of Afro) because my name starts with a U.

Anyway, I think this is a very interesting blog, and as from this moment onwards, consider me a follower.

Otherwise, I will add you guys on to the list of blogs I read (on my blog).

    Later, then!

This is a great idea you guys. I cannot stand fake hair and I have seen people go through the horrors of chemical treatments, weaves and other filth to get the “look”.

This site has just been bookmarked 🙂

Congratulations on your new house & baby. I also like the confidence that comes with natural hair. It’s beautiful & most importantly, healthy. Do you feel that maintaining natural hair is easier or difficult than when it’s locked?

You will never go wrong with natural hair.Went natural from 2005 and within two years my dreadlocks were the best in town. Excited of being a mother again, new house ,I decided on new hair style.I cut my locks and went for short hairn July 2009, it feels so natural and it is beautiful and can play around with different styles depending on occassion.I will go back to dreadlocks next year July, this was just a year experience.
